The horror film "Get Out" is Jordan Peele's directorial debut. Peele also wrote the script, and the film is produced by Jason Blum ("Insidious", "The Purge").

Daniel Kaluuya stars as a young African-American who visits his girlfriend's (Allison Williams) mysterious family in rural upstate New York. Although initially fearful of her family's reaction to their interracial relationship, the parents (Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener) seem overly accommodating. However, a series of disturbing events lead him to a horrifying discvoery.

The cast also includes Marcus Henderson, Caleb Landry Jones, Lakeith Stanfield, Stephen Root, LilRel Howery and Betty Gabriel.

"Get Out" opened in theaters on February 24, 2017 to universally positive reviews. The film grossed $10.8 million on Friday and is expected to finish its opening weekend with $20-25 million.

Official Synopsis
"Now that Chris and his girlfriend, Rose, have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean.
