"American Housewife", originally titled "The Second Fattest Housewife in Westport", is a new ABC sitcom TV series that follows a strong-willed mother (Katy Mixon) who tries to stand out and raise her flawed family in a wealthy town filled with perfect wives and their privileged offspring.
Created and written by Sarah Dunn ("Spin City"), the show also stars Diedrich Bader, Jeannette Sousa, Johnny Sequoyah, Daniel DiMaggio, Carly Hughes, Ali Wong and Leslie Bibb.
"American Housewife" premieres on October 11th.

Official Synopsis
"Katie Otto (Katy Mixon, “Mike and Molly”), a confident, unapologetic wife and mother of three, raises her flawed family in the wealthy town of Westport, Connecticut, filled with “perfect” mommies and their “perfect” offspring."
