The first trailer and poster for the sequel "300: Rise of an Empire" have been released. The story, based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel "Xerxes" features Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) rising against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemisia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy. Lena Headey will reprise the role of Queen Gorgo. The film is directed by Noam Murro and produced by Zack Snyder ("300", "Man of Steel"). "300: Rise of an Empire" opens on March 7, 2014.
