I bet you forgot about this franchise. The first trailer for "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" is here. The film is a sequel to 2010's "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief", the saga of a young man who discovers he's the son of a Greek god, meets other half-bloods like him, and sets out on an adventure to save the world. It was silly, but I thought it was fun. However, I'm actually surprised to see that they've bothered to do a sequel since the first one was a disappointment at the box-office.
Still, the trailer for "Sea of Monsters" promises what all sequels promise: to up the stakes, push the visual effects further and wallow in silliness. The film stars Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Brandon T. Jackson, Stanley Tucci, Douglas Smith and Missi Pyle. And I think I also hear the voice of Shohreh Aghdashloo ("The Stoning of Soraya M.", "House of Sand and Fog") as the Oracle (starting at 0:36).
