We have the first movie clip for the "Evil Dead" remake and it's certainly a tame preview compared to the gore-fest that the early reviews have announced. So far the reactions have been positive and those hoping for the violence to go way over the top, well, you're in for a treat. The other preview is a WonderCon Announcement trailer. It doesn't contain any new footage, but the editing and the sound effects are really great. The remake is directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Elizabeth Blackmore, Lou Taylor Pucci and Jessica Lucas. "Evil Dead" opens on April 5, 2013.

Official Synopsis
"In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival. "
