Al Pacino Cast in Mafia Movie

Al Pacino has had plenty of experience when it comes to gangster movies. "The Godfather" trilogy, "Scarface", "Donny Brasco", to name but a few, have given birth to iconic characters, all bearing the unimstakable signature of one of the greatest actors the world has ever seen. Now, Al Pacino returns to the crime genre that he helped define in his own way. He has been cast in Barry Levinson's "Gotti: Three Generations", and will play Gambino family underboss Neil Dellacroce. Already cast are John Travolta as John Gotti, Kelly Preston as Gotti's wife (Travolta's wife in real life), and Joe Pesci as a Gotti lieutenant. Also cast is Lindsay Lohan. Let's hope she can stay sober long enough to avoid being replaced at the last minute. The movie is based on John Gotti Jr's story who after spending time in prison decided to withdraw from the family business. Filming will begin sometime this fall and the producers are looking for a 2013 release date.
